Tenuta Mara Wine Relais, a little Eden, a dream that has taken shape from the passion of entrepreneur Giordano Emendatori and continues today under the guidance of his daughter, Elena. This is the place where a unique Sangiovese is produced, and where biodynamic agricultural practices – certified by Demeter – blend with a passion for music, art, and life.

You are invited to a stay surrounded by a natural oasis, vineyards harmonized with music, and a colorful park embellished with works of art. This astonishing residence will captivate you with the originality of its furnishings and the distinctive features of its spaces, including the 4 themed suites. Each stay has a unique connotation, making it precious, original, and unrepeatable.

A wine experience at Tenuta Mara engages the senses even before the central moment of tasting. Starting from the park and the outdoor art installations, moving through the vineyard, one arrives inside the Music Room. Through a charming staircase, you access the ‘sacred’ places of wine: the Fermentation Room where six large oak vats and an equal number in concrete are placed, the latter decorated by different artists, giving the room an unusually inspiring appearance. The Barrel Room: a true temple of Sangiovese wine, guarded by two ancient Chinese warriors who constantly watch over the barrels where MaraMia rests for twelve months. Elegant architecture, subdued lights, and an exclusive egg-shaped barrel, positioned in the center of the room, make it an enchanted place. Adding an extra touch of sacredness, Gregorian chants accompany day and night the refinement of biodynamic wine. The Barrel Aging Room: a finely decorated space, reminiscent of Byzantine art, to house the barriques and tonneaux where MaraMia wine slowly refines, patiently, before being bottled. The tour ends with a glass in hand, savoring our precious Sangiovese.
